The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hosting a series of gatherings that will engage the public in charting a path forward for Yellowstone cutthroat trout restoration in the Cody Region. At each meeting, participants will have the opportunity to share their thoughts, listen to other participants, and learn about the current status and conservation challenges associated with cutthroat trout. We have a lot to learn from each other. The end goal of this endeavor is a set of specific recommendations put forward by the public for future cutthroat restoration projects in the Absaroka, Beartooth, and Bighorn Mountains.
To be as efficient as possible with our meeting on the 28th, anyone with suggestions for specific locations/streams where future cutthroat restoration projects should be considered AND/OR general recommendations you would like evaluated and discussed, you must send them by the end of the day on Thursday, March 22. Please add the stream or stream system name you are suggesting to the appropriate drainage specific Recommendation Form, and complete as many of the columns as possible.
